Jennifer is a native of Valdosta, Georgia. She focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning and probate law, residential and commercial real estate, and business law. Jennifer is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
Jennifer received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Valdosta State University in 2012, summa cum laude. During her undergraduate career, she was an active participant in the Honors College and was named as Valdosta State’s graduate to receive the University System of Georgia’s Academic Recognition Day Award from the Georgia Legislature.
Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2016, magna cum laude. While at Georgia Law, Jennifer served as an articles editor for the Georgia Law Review, published her student note with the Georgia Law Review Online, and earned the CALI awards for the top-ranking student in Legal Writing and Federal Income Taxation. During law school, she clerked for Athens-Clarke County State Court Judges Ethelyn N. Simpson & Charles E. Auslander, III, provided pro bono legal services to indigent senior citizens through the Northeast Georgia Elderly Legal Assistance Program, and completed a course of study in the law school’s environmental law practicum. She also worked for Dover Miller Karras & Langdale as a law clerk for two years during law school.
Jennifer married Dr. Colin Walker in December 2015. Colin is a native of Syracuse, New York, and he is an Assistant Professor in Communication Arts at Valdosta State University. Jennifer is an active member of the VSU Alumni Association. On any given fall Saturday, Jennifer can be found cheering her Blazers and Bulldogs to victory.
