Jack Langdale has practiced with Dover Miller since graduating from law school in 2005. His primary practice areas include residential and commercial real estate, business law, and land use and zoning law. He regularly represents residential and commercial developers beginning with the planning stage, through rezoning and acquisition of real property, and drafting and establishing of restrictive covenants and property owners associations. He also has extensive experience representing lenders and borrowers in the negotiation, acquisition and financing of various commercial, agricultural, and timber tracts, including the closing of government-guaranteed loans, such as SBA and UDSA loans, with an emphasis on USDA Business & Industry loans.
Jack has experience in a wide variety of areas and routinely assists clients working with specialists in the areas of healthcare, banking law and creditor’s rights, estate planning, and probate law. He also enjoys assisting individuals in the establishment of local small businesses, especially those with a focus on some aspect of real estate.
His charitable interests include active participation in the Boys & Girls Club of Valdosta, where he has served on its Board of Directors since 2007 and is a former Board Chair, and its supporting charitable foundation, the BGV Foundation. Jack also serves on the Harley Langdale, Jr. Foundation and was a member of the Leadership Lowndes class of 2007.
Jack received his B.B.A. in Business Administration from the Stetson School of Business and Economics at Mercer University and his J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Valdosta Bar Association.
When not at work, Jack enjoys watching college football, fishing, BBQ, looking for arrowheads, and spending time outdoors with his family. Jack is married to Virginia “Gini” Smith Langdale. They have three daughters and attend First Baptist Church of Valdosta.
