Nathan is a partner at Dover Miller Karras Langdale & Brantley, P.C. Nathan’s primary areas of practice are general civil and commercial litigation, bankruptcy and creditor’s rights, real estate, zoning and land use, and personal injury. He received his B.B.A. in Finance from Valdosta State University in 2005 and his J.D. from the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law in 2013.
Nathan is licensed to practice law in all Georgia state courts, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, and is the current Secretary of the Valdosta Bar Association. He currently serves as the Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber of Commerce’s SORT Committee Chairman and Policy Chair on the Government Affairs Council. Nathan is currently serving his second term on the Valdosta-Lowndes County Zoning Board of Appeals. He is also a member of the Surveying and Mapping Society of Georgia and the Georgia Forestry Association.
Nathan is also a professional land surveyor in the State of Georgia. He received his Land Surveying Certificate from Middle Georgia College in 2003 and was licensed to practice in 2007. He has extensive experience in the areas of land surveying, land use and development, and zoning; having worked with an engineering and surveying firm in Valdosta for ten years prior to attending law school. Although Nathan no longer regularly practices land surveying, he continues to keep his license active.
Nathan is a native of Valdosta, Georgia. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Valdosta and have two children, John and Anna. Jennifer is a nurse at South Georgia Medical Center. In his spare time, Nathan enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities, playing golf, and watching sports.
